Why would 30 of Vienna’s creative people spontaneously spark a glam punk protest? Because they are angry, scared and because they still can! Angry that in 2024 fascist ideology and a steady march to the right still prevails. Anger about the fact that equality is still a topic of discussion, and fear is it far from being a given. They do it because they are strong and can take action to help positive change happen. So before the opera becomes quiet, the theater becomes boring and the concert halls fall silent and dark – vote on Sunday for love, people and art. Because all the bright talented artists who make your life more beautiful are a colorful, queer, creative, multicultural mix. And let’s be honest, without them – without us – it would be a pretty boring Vienna.
